Illinois War of 1812 Bicentennial Commission

Bill Johnson is a current member of Company B, Territorial Rangers and has been a member or the Hill’s Fort Society for many years.  He has been reenacting for many years and also spends time demonstrating rope making and leather crafts to children and adults at historical events around the area.  He is a dedicated scout leader and has been for a long time.  He recently discovered that an ancestor was a soldier during the War of 1812 and now he is also a member of the Illinois Society War of 1812.
